Vaulting Equestrian Arts Show & Clinic May 7 -Castle Rock Bell Mountain Stables
The American Vaulting Equestrian Arts Show and Clinic will feature performances by national and regional champions in this exciting equestrian sport. The May 7th event is being presented by EquesTraining Adventures & Associates.
Vaulting is an international sport combining gymnastics with horseback riding. Each vaulter combines rhythmic dance moves to music which are timed with the horse’s motion, making for vibrant performances of grace and beauty that everyone enjoys watching!
The schedule of events for the vaulting equestrian arts show and clinic at Bell Mountain Stables includes:
*9:30 A.M. - 11:30 A.M. - Adult and junior coaches will welcome pre-schoolers, kids, and teens to come and try vaulting on horseback. The instruction is tailored to kids of all abilities.
*11:45 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. - During the “halftime” show, families will enjoy amazing performances by 2004 National Vaulting Champion athletes and other skilled riders on beautiful horses.
*12:45 P.M - 2:15 P.M. - The afternoon hours are reserved for adult riders to try the successful “Centaur Seat”, a newly developed method of learning horseback riding that combines simple vaulting moves with traditional riding techniques. For beginning adult riders, it is a fun way to learn correctly, without fear.
Recreational vaulting is the safest of all equestrian sports and the ideal way to learn secure effective riding skills useful in any discipline. No prior experience in gymnastics or horseback riding is required to participate in the programs offered at the May 7
family is invited to give it a try! Ticket holders receive souvenirs and are registered to win prizes.
The American Vaulting Equestrian Arts Show and Clinic is a preview of what Coloradoans will be seeing during the USEF/National Vaulting Championships that will be held in Denver, August 11-14, 2005. Hundreds of vaulters from all 50 states will be competing.
Bell Mountain Stables offers innovative as well as traditional riding instruction and horse training. This summer, plans include vaulting and equestrian arts camps geared for children, teens, and adults of
all abilities and levels of experience.
